Welcome to Kalvani. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and services. By accessing or using our site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Overview
Kalvani is an online store offering premium, artisan-crafted rugs. Our rugs are hand-tufted and shipped with care from overseas to ensure authenticity, craftsmanship, and quality. Because of the nature of our products and supply chain, we ask that you read these Terms carefully before purchasing.

2. Online Store Terms

  • You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use this site.

  • You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.

  • A breach or violation of any of the Terms may result in termination of your access to our services.

3. Product Information & Accuracy

  • Many of our products are handcrafted or hand-finished. Variations in color, size, and weave are part of their character, not defects.

  • We make every effort to display accurate product descriptions and images. However, we cannot guarantee that your device’s display will accurately represent colors or textures.

  • Limited inventory and artisanal sourcing mean availability may change without notice.

4. Shipping & Delivery

  • Rugs are shipped from our partners overseas to our U.S. facility, then delivered to customers. Standard shipping times may vary depending on availability and destination.

  • Shipping delays due to customs, international transit, or demand surges may occur. Kalvani is not liable for delays beyond our control.

5. Returns & Exchanges

  • Kalvani does not accept refunds for any reason other than damage reported within 7 days of delivery.

  • We offer one exchange per order:

    • Customers are responsible for return shipping

    • Kalvani will cover the cost of shipping the replacement item

    • Exchanges must be requested within 14 days of delivery

    • All exchanged items must be in new condition (no stains, pet hair, odors, or visible use)

    • After an exchange is completed, all sales are considered final

6. Intellectual Property
All content on our site — including text, logos, images, and product designs — is owned by or licensed to Kalvani. Unauthorized use or reproduction is strictly prohibited.

7. User Conduct
You agree not to:

  • Use the site for unlawful purposes

  • Post false, misleading, or harmful content

  • Interfere with the site’s functionality or security

8. Limitation of Liability
Kalvani is not liable for:

  • Any damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the website

  • Delays in shipping due to customs, transit, or supply chain issues

  • Slight variations in rug appearance due to handmade nature to the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the product in question.

9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Suffolk County, New York.
