The Meaning Behind Zehra

Zehra was inspired by Isparta, a city in Turkey known for its rose gardens and its quiet mastery of textile tradition.

The colors are rooted in the faded roses and stone textures found throughout Isparta. The result is a rug that feels soft and lived-in from the start — floral, but never ornamental.

The design doesn't ask for attention. Subtle curves, muted blues, and delicate detailing are meant to bring calm to a room, not compete with it.

At Kalvani, our rugs begin with place. Zehra reflects both where it comes from and how it was made: by hand, in small batches, using natural wool that grows more beautiful with time.

We made it to feel familiar the moment it arrives. We hope it brings a sense of stillness and story to the space you call home.
